I have an awful lot on my plate today so once again I'm flipping the schedule and using my rest for today. Wasn't actually what I had planned and I'm feeling pretty blue that I missed it but I got some things done that desperately needed tending to. Like cleaning out the garage. Whats that have to do with a fitness blog? Well you see, tucked "neatly" in the corner of my garage is a nautilus machine that's been used as a every thing from a clothes rack and garden hose holder to a rocket ship for Charlie. I thought I might start implementing it with p90x, maybe do a few finishing moves that correspond with that days work out.
I'm already starting to worry about my 60 day pics. Mostly because the pics are the single most telling signs that I've been working my butt off! The safe bet would be to pair my 60 day pics with my day 1 pics but I'm afraid I would be misleading myself. I have to match day 60's with day 30's and I just don't think the results are going to be as noticeable. Unless, I really, really bring it these next 19 days. So, that's my motivation, my phase 2 pics HAVE to be as equally impressive (to me) as my phase 1 pics. I like that, really gives me something to shoot for and something I know I can reach. Who's gonna stop me, you? Bring It! 49 more days to go.

Day 40 fo P90X - Legs & Back
Damn it! Another bombed leg routine. I just can't get it. By the time I reach the half way point I'm totally spent, I don't know what to do about this. I'm eating a light healthy breakfast an hour beforehand, had a great nights sleep...clueless. I've had great results with 5 Hour Energy in the past, maybe I'll try it next time. I've heard em say if your feeling tired slip some recovery formula in your water, any thoughts? Kinda sick right now, maybe to much caffeine this morning? Man this is gonna bug me, I'm gonna have to come up with a better plan of attack for this son of a....! 50 more days to go.

Day 39 of P90X - Kenpo X
Wow, wow ,wow...Awesome work out this morning, sweats just pouring off of me and hopefully a little goo too. Man when I got finished I just felt amazing, total euphoria. I feel like climbing Mount Kilimanjaro or at least going for a run or something. I really do need to get a heart rate monitor though, couple of times I felt like I was pushing the edge and my pride wouldn't let me rest, kept thinking to myself, I won't be denied! Ya, unless I have a coronary on the bedroom floor.
Once again I've switched up the routine, I do it so much I'm thinking about changing it to D90X! I'm hitting my strength days as required but I'm changing my conditioning days to suit how my bodies feeling. Just didn't want to do a lot of jumping around today, saving myself for the dreaded leg routine tomorrow. 51 more days to go.

Day 38 of P90X - Back & Biceps
I had to get up at 5:30 this morning to get this one in, man I forgot how enjoyable that is....Anyways, happy to report that I was able to go up in weights as planned and was still able to keep my reps identical, so I guess I'll increase again next time, why not? Wasn't able to get in my kenpo routine last night, ended up getting slammed with work and was pretty well spent when I got off. Abs tonight for sure, I'm still way too soft in my core. I can flex and see my abs but there still snuggled under a layer of goo. I want them to be tight so bad! Hopefully I can shed another 2 inches of my waist this phase, that's my goal. Gotta have goals people and you gotta want it. I want it badly!

Day 37 of P90X - Cardio X
Technically, today should have been plyometrics but I'm just getting over the soreness hump and I think that might have been to much for me. Cardio X makes a great supplemental work out and I can tell I really pushed it hard this morning cause I'm feeling a little sickly right now. Today's a double routine, so I'm planning on doing Kenpo X when I get off work tonight. I have dentist appointment tomorrow morning, right during my work out time which means I'll to have to get up extra early to get that one in. Gonna be tiresome. Oh well, how bad do I want it? 53 more days to go.

Day 36 of p90X - Chest, Shoulders & Triceps
I had surprisingly good work out today considering I partied like Keith Richards this weekend. Speaking of which, I really need to start focusing now about how I'm going to live a little bit more conservatively come this weekend. Anyways felt strong throughout and I was able to increase reps across half the board. Feels good to work some of that goo out. Weigh in and Ab Ripper X tonight. 54 more days to go.

Day 35 of P90X - Rest
I was suppose to do a round of Kenpo X today but after yesterday's leg routine...I can't. A two week layoff from leg training has left me with with some serious leg and booty soreness. My kenpo skills are laughable at best anyways, add to the fact that I can hardly sit on the toilet and I just know this routine would have been a lost cause.
I had five really strong work outs this week and I feel good about that but I'm always questioning if I can do more. Not to mention that I had a serious lapse in my diet this weekend, badly. I will weigh myself Monday night as usual but I'm not going to post the results, I know they won't be favorable. So, time for some re dedication. I'm planning on doing the doubles routine and adding Cardio X on the nights that I don't do strength training, Tuesday's, Thursday's and Saturday's. I know for a fact that I haven't been taking in enough water and since I work 2nd shift I'm going to try and drink 64 oz before work and another 36 oz at work. Hopefully that will help out with my recovery time and my overall well being. Planning on maybe adding some whey protein some time this week. Going to also try and adjust my sleeping pattern a little bit, earlier to bed and earlier to rise and adding a 20-30 minute rest around noon to help prevent me from crashing once i get to work. 55 more days to go.
